1955 is located close to Parc, Rouge, all things Rittenhouse, Walnut Streets, Locust Street, Market Street and much more. You’ll love the home because Rittenhouse is the premier area of Philadelphia, and you are located just 1 block form Rittenhouse Square park. Which features some of the best ice cream in the City and certainly the best restaurants and coffee houses, shopping and where major films are shot. Please note that this home is in the lower level of the building, although bright, and the home has a large window. In the home - people that do not like homes in the lower level should bear this information in mind


We are professional hosts and this is our living, hence you can be assured that while you will be able to reach a live person 24 hours a day, we will not be pestering you, other than to initially make sure that you are comfortable. So in short, we will be there for you when you need us.


The amazing Rittenhouse Square and Rittenhouse Square Park. It's the most premier area in Philadelphia, and you are right in the heart of it.


In order to maintain a safe environment for all guests, we are required to have all guests verified and pass a screening requirement that looks at the following, those guests who do not pass or do not give us permission to verify them will not be allowed entry. We will check for suitability using Public Record DataBase.

48 hours prior to arrival you will be given 2 electronic codes, one to enter through the front door, the other to enter the apartment home.

Please note: We use a noise monitoring device on the property to ensure that our guests are being good neighbors; It does NOT record actual sounds or conversations, it simply monitors the noise level (measured in decibels). Quiet hours are observed from 9 pm-8 am. Violators will be charged a $200 fine. This property may use NoiseAware technology to ensure the comfort and security of the guest. Tampering with the device is strictly prohibited and will result in a $200 fine.

Prior to your arrival, we will take pictures of the keys/fobs for the home. (Where applicable)
If the same number of keys/fobs are not left as assigned on your departure for security purposes we will have to replace all locks and pass the expense of this onto you. The costs would be as follows. Remove and Replace old lock $250-$450 depending on the lock needing to be replaced. Each fob will be $150. Mailbox lock removal and replacement keys $150


This particular home is a junior 1 bedroom home located on the lower level facing the front of the building (Locust Street) There are windows in both the bedroom and the living room, and kitchen. Hardwood floors throughout as well as Stainless Steel Appliances and Granite Countertops.

There is a Queen Sized Bed in the separate bedroom.
There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.
Between the living room and the bedroom is a bathroom, complete with shower (no bath tub).
The living room features a 50 inch SMART flat screen TV and the Bedroom features a 32 inch flat screen TV.

There is central AC throughout the home.

The kitchen is fully stocked and comes complete with all pots and pans and plates/glasses etc.

This is a brand new renovated brownstone building in a fantastic location, you gain entry to the building by entering from the ground floor (street level) with a special code that we will provide you with. You will then proceed down one flight of stairs to the apartment home.

You have access to a rooftop deck that is located on the 4th floor.
If you give us 3 days advance notice, prior to your arrival we can register you free of charge for the Bellevue Sporting Club. It is at the Sporting Club, that is located just a 5 minute walk away where you can enjoy the following.

The Sporting Club at The Bellevue is Philadelphia’s Premier Health & Fitness Club. From quality cardio and weight training equipment on the 10,000 square foot Fitness Floor to 120 weekly Group Fitness classes, The Sporting Club is your one stop shop to a healthy and active lifestyle.

If you wish for us to pick you up from the PHL airport or Philadelphia train station in our Suburban, then we would very much enjoy that. One time pick up service is free for those guests staying with us longer than 30 days and we charge just a small fee for those staying for shorter.


Subway, Car, Walk, Bus. You name it, its all right there.


There is no elevator in the building, and you will have to go down just one flight of stairs. This building was renovated just 2 years ago and although we have kept all the architectural features of the home, we have included many modern conveniences, such as hard wood floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Please also be aware that there's an HVAC engine sound that you might hear from the building across ours.

In order to honor your reservation with us, please answer the following questions:

2) Have you read our policies on no parties, and no smoking as well as house rules and no noise complaints?  (**Please make sure to read through the listing, most importantly the house rules/policy for proper guidance. )

4) Please send us your email address so we can send you the House Policy Agreement that you need to sign electronically

Please note that we are unable to send your arrival instructions or allow entry until ALL 3 of these questions are answered. House Policy Agreement will be sent to your email and needs to be signed prior to check-in.  We apologize for the need to do this, sadly a few bad apples have caused the need for these extra steps. 

NO Smoking/Parties not allowed

Additional Note: We only provide toiletries good for the first 24-48 hour use. Please bring your own or purchase at the nearby grocery stores or pharmacies for longer stays.

Pet Policy
We know that your dog is like family and we just love pets, and would love to welcome your dog with you. However the building requires us to follow certain protocol.
If you are bringing a dog, please provide the following information before you book
1) Breed of your dog
2) Weight of your dog
3) Be agreeable to a $25 per night pet fee up to a maximum of $300

Please be aware that while we love all pets, we are not able to welcome cats.

House Rules


Parking - Please park at your own risk. Sadly we cannot accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to any vehicle. Think of it as, who would be responsible for your vehicle if you parked in your local town.

No Smoking - smoking in the unit will result in a minimum odor removal fee of $350-$600 (depending on severity) to help cover the cost of odor removal and/or steam cleaning.

No Parties or Gatherings - Violation of this rule may result in termination of stay without refund as well as a minimum $500 fine. A gathering is defined as 2 or more unapproved guests at the property, meaning 2 persons more than the # of guests you have stated will reside in the home during the stay. The unapproved visitor fee will also be applied resulting in a higher fine.

No Animals - Having animals in the unit at any time (without expressed prior written approval) may result in termination of stay without refund as well as a minimum sanitation fee in the range of $300-$500.

Unapproved late check outs are not allowed (unless provided in writing) and will have a minimum fee of $100. If you wish to have a late check out please ask for written permission prior to your check out time.

No Visitors - We do not allow any unapproved visitors during your stay. Violation of this rule will result in a $50 per visitor per night, Example: If you have booked for 3 nights, and are found to have an unapproved visitor, you will be charged $50 per visitor per night = total $150 per visitor. We can approve a visitor if you add the visitor at the time of the reservation as a guest, or during your stay by sending us an email and gaining approval in writing.

No Illegal Activity - There is absolutely no illegal activity in our units. If this is found, then there will be a minimum fine of $350 and immediate removal from the unit without refund.

No Mail/Packages - Unless by expressed permission and then only upon receipt of a refundable security deposit of $100 to cover the safe return of the mail key prior to your departure.

We have quiet hours for our unit from 10PM to 8AM everyday including holidays. Violation of this rule may result in removal from the unit without refund in addition to a $150 minimum fine.
False Maintenance Fee - If there is an issue reported at the property by you or a guest of yours that is not a true issue when a maintenance technician arrives at the property due to user error then there may be a minimum fee of $100 per occurrence.

Please do not leave your luggage or belongings behind in the unit. Anything left behind will be considered abandoned. If in fact we do have your belongings after your stay the following charges will apply:
$25 Mailing fee separate from the cost of postage and storage fee.
$25 per day storage fee.

Reservations that are canceled may be subject to credit card processing fees in the amount of 3% may be charged to cover fees that we cannot recover.

This efficiency apartment was clean and well kept and provided a very comfortable stay. The kitchen was fully stocked, the tv was Roku ready and the bed and sofa bed were comfortable. The location is amazing, an easy walk to lots of fun places. While there was some street noise the white noise machine provided was a nice touch.

Stayed in one the garden level apartments. Location is amazing! Super convenient to use. Staff corresponded promptly. It’s perfect if you plan to be out and about for the majority of your stay, full size kitchen is a huge bonus. However, the apartment could use a fresh coat of paint and some minor fixes. Lack of outlets in the bedroom was a bummer but could be remedied if they supplied a power strip. Wouldn’t hurt to add a bedside table as well, i had no place to set my cpap on while i slept. The tap water tasted a little off so some complimentary water bottles would be nice however 7-11 is literally right outside your door.
